Steps required to setup two factor authentication

Follow these steps to setup and login to the PEAK platform via secure two-factor authentication:

Step 1 - Install Google Authenticator App

Install the free Google Authenticator App on your mobile phone by opening the App Store or Google Play Store and searching 1. google authenticator and then 2. Installing. It is free to install.

Step 2 - Open Email Invitation

On your desktop computer, open the email invitation sent from PEAK platform IT Support or your CIM representative and open the relevant link (Contact engineering@cim.io if you did not receive an email invitation).

Enter your work email and temporary password if you were provided a temporary password in your welcome email. You should then see the screen below.

Step 3 - Open the Google Authenticator App

Once installed on your mobile device, open the Google Authenticator App and tap:

  1. Begin Setup then tap Scan Barcode on your mobile device

  2. Scan the QR Code on the opened web page in Step 1

  3. Once scanned on your mobile you will see your 6 digit code

Step 4 - Open the Google Authenticator App

Enter the six digit code displayed on your mobile phone into the text box of the opened web page in Step 1 and click Submit button. Do not include spaces between numbers. See screenshot below

Step 5 - Enter Secure Password

Note: skip this step if you were provided a temporary password

  • Follow the instructions on the page to enter and confirm a secure password

  • Confirm your work Email, First Name and Last Name and click Submit

  • Click on the link Back to Application

Step 6 - Login

  • Enter your Email, Password and tap Log In

  • 1. Open your Google Authenticator App on your mobile device, 2. Find the six digit code listed under PEAK platform; 3. Enter the six digit code and tap Log In.

  • If you have forgotten password tap the link Forgot Password? and you will be resent email instructions to setup your login details again (follow step 1)

Troubleshooting

Your computer and mobile phone clock must match for the authenticator code to work.
