Points lists can be created and extracted on JCI Metasys systems by utilising the Global Search option under Query. This option is typically available to all user types.

Once the Global Search Viewer is open, change the Object Type to "Field Points" and Add a controller to search. Typically these will be NXE or SNC / SNE controllers, however Global Search is limited to 2000 points at a time. In the case that too many points exist under the supervisory controller, you will need to expand the tree under each controller and create points lists by trunk (e.g. N2 or FC trunks) or potentially by field controllers (VAVs, VSDs etc).

Once the search is successful, use the Select All and Copy options at the bottom of the screen to copy the information into a spreadsheet.
